What this is
Down to Go coordinates attendance for recurring group events. An organizer sets up a group and a schedule; members get a message when each poll opens and answer with one tap. That's the whole service.

Program description
Down to Go sends attendance polls for recurring group events and reports the outcome back to the group. After you opt in, you receive a message when your group's poll opens, naming the event, its time and location, and how many people are currently going. You reply to say whether you're coming. You then receive one message with the result: either that the event is going ahead, or that it was called off for lack of numbers.
All messages are transactional. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through this program.
Message frequency
Typically two messages per scheduled event: one when the poll opens, one with the result. If your group has not answered by shortly before the cutoff, you may receive at most one reminder per event. Frequency therefore depends on how often your group meets: a weekly group means roughly two to three messages a week; a monthly group means two to three a month. You will receive no messages between your group's scheduled events.

Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them immediately. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply QUIET to keep receiving the poll but stop reminders.
Opting out of text messages does not remove you from your group. You can continue to take part by email or by checking your group's page on the web.
Required disclosures

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using the service.
- Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is handled. We do not share text messaging consent information or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your account
You join a group through a link from its organizer. You're responsible for keeping your own link private; anyone with it can answer on your behalf.
Organizers can remove members. You can leave a group, or stop receiving messages, at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Down to Go to send unsolicited messages, to add people who haven't agreed to join, or for anything unlawful. Organizers are responsible for having permission to contact the people they invite.
Availability
The service is provided as is. We don't guarantee that messages will arrive on time or at all. Carriers, phones, and networks all sit between us and you. Don't rely on it for anything where a missed message matters.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
